Anyone else's youtube doing this won't allow you to close the video

Hey @Gavinh, try with clearing the cache of the app: Settings > Apps > YouTube app > Storage > Clear cache. Also, check if the application is updated from: Google Play Store > 3 lines menu (top-left) > My apps & games > Update YouTube app. Next, make sure that you have a strong connection and, if necessary, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if the issue is linked to your connection. Finally, do a Soft Reset of the phone by pressing and holding the Volume Down as well as the Power buttons for 10 seconds.

Yup the only way for me to get it back to normal is by just reseting it from holding done the power button and clicking the reset but its very annoying and not a permanent fix..
