Galaxy S20 SeriesHello,
Few days ago I noticed a small stain, 5 millimeters in width and 1 millimeter width on the screen
At first I thought it was a scratch, but I noticed that if I clean the stain with a microfiber cloth, it completely disappears.
But when I touch with finger where it was or wets the area, The stain returns!
It looks like this place rejects fat and water.
why is it happening? Is there a way to clear this stain?

Galaxy S20 Seriesit is the oleophobic coating of ythe phone, probably it could have possibile got work out a little bit.
if you have the protector on do not worry you can fix it just by swapping it, so keep it like it is

Galaxy S20 SeriesYou're phone comes with a pre fitted plastic screen protector.
They don't always ladt that long.
My advise is to buy another plastic one or a good Glass Screen Protector such as a Whitestone and replace it.
It by chance the issue is under the actual screen and the phone hasn't been water damaged or accidentally damaged via a bump then a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre can look at it when they re open after the COVID-19 pandemic ends.
I wish you all the best with this situation.

Galaxy S20 SeriesWhat is oleophobic coating?
I not use screen protector.
I also remove the original screen protector.
In samsung store, they not know what it is...

Galaxy S20 SeriesThe coating is applied to the phone screen at the manufacturing level to both protect it and to help repel fingerprint marks.
The plastic screen protector is applied in the factory so is already on the phone and can be peeled off.
If there not sure in the Samsung Store and they don't have an in-house repair service then they may have to send it off to be looked at under the 24 month manufacturing warranty @Daniel19831983

Attaches a picture of a clean screen after I put my finger on the stain. After I clean with a microfiber cloth, it will disappear completely.
It is strange that in this small place, the coating is stronger, and repels water and grease much more then the rest of the screen. I don't have a screen protector because it's uncomfortable, but when it was the staine was not visible.
