Duplicated emails

Hello,

On my S20+ I have an account set up and an alias on that same account. In my Samsung email I receive emails in each of the two accounts, no matter which account an email is addressed to.
This does not happen on my computer email app (Apple Mail), so think it must be because of a setting in the Samsung email - but I cannot find anything to change!

Thanks.

Try clearing cache of the Samsung email app 😎

If you have the alias as a separate email account, delete it.

Thank you - but if i delete the alias account (it is indeed a separate one), how will I be able to send emails from it? I really need it to function,  because it is the address I give out to companies and use for business stuff.

Your alias account emails should go to the inbox of your main account IIRC.

Thank you to the people who replied. Unfortunately, none of the solutions worked. In the end, what I did was to un-choose all the folders to sync except 'SENT' on the alias account. Now, all my alias emails indeed arrive in my base account (as suggested by Pugs1957), but I am also able to send emails from the alias account on my phone.
Job done!
