Android 12 update ruined Android Auto

Android Auto is no longer working after the 12 update. My car no longer detects my phone. I cannot listen to music through my phone connected to my car, or use Google maps on my cars console screen. By reading the Google discussion boards, this error seems mostly with Samsung phones.

I hope this gets corrected quickly, otherwise I'm going to Pixel. Android Auto is the most important app I use

hi try to uninstall it then restart phone then reinstall it hope it helps

Try clearing the cache partition on the phone and that might solve the issue. To do this, just search 'how to wipe cache partition S20' and you should find what you are looking for 🙂. Hope this helps! 😎

Hi, i have a s21 ultra and when using android auto i can press the google assist button and say 'call Caroline' and it will make the call. when i say 'text Caroline' it will say 'text Caroline' but wont let me say the text to send as it seems to not detect my voice.
