Note 20 Ultra dead screen

My Note 20 Ultra stopped showing me any pictures, but the phone is still responsive to touch. So sudden and I didn't drop my phone. Tried to restart, tried using Safemode, but nothing works. Also, I was in the official Samsung Service. They said I need to change the display for UAH 23000. It's something like 625$ and also they said it's a problem with this model. But they didn't even disassemble it and didn't diagnose it, they just took it in their hands, looked at it, and said "This series of phones has a problem, the repair will cost UAH 23,000". The phone is about two and a half years old. In my opinion, this is a rather short lifetime for a phone that costs ≈ $1000. Maybe someone knows if can it be after a phone update like with green lines or its another problem? And if someone had such a problem, what did you do in such a case and what did the Samsung company offer?

This happened to my note 20 ultra 5g. I was sat using it and the screen went black, I thought the battery had died unexpectedly but I could feel the haptic feedback still working, I contacted Samsung and they sent an engineer to my house the next day and replaced the screen (and better, they have to replace the battery is the screen is replaced) under warranty as the phone was less than 2 years old.

Samsung apply a limited 2 year Manufacturing Warranty on their phone's.

Any work carried out free after the two years would be entirely at Samsungs discretion under a Goodwill Gesture. 

If Samsung insist on a fee and you do not want to accept the fee then you would need to look at other insurance cover such as Household Insurance Home Contents or some Bank Accounts provide cover as a perk of the account.
