Not Receiving Notifications on Certain Apps on My Note20

On certain apps such as LINE, WeChat and Signal, I am not getting those numbers over the app when someone had messages me.  I am missing out on these messages and only when I open these apps, then I realized a whole bunch of messages were received!!

This doesn't happen on my regular blue colored messages app though.

I already checked my notifications settings and everything is turned on but nothing seems to be going through!  This is frustrating!  Anyone have a solution for this?

Try clearing the app cache to fix the notification issue

Settings apps
And click to clear the app cache

@BakedCorndog: Can you try heading to Settings > Apps > Select one of the affected apps > Notifications > App Icon Badges, and make sure that this is toggled on? Please be aware that if you clear the notifications from your drop down menu, then this will remove any app icon badges from their respective apps.
