A Samsung phone comes hand in hand with only so many software updates, and security patches. 

The Samsung Note²⁰ software updates have ended now.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra received their last major Android update in December 2022. Since then, they have received quarterly security updates. 

• January 2025

  The first quarterly update of 2025 was released for the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. This update was based on Android 13 and One UI 5.1. It fixed over 50 vulnerabilities, including 5 critical and 24 high-level CVEs. 
• October 2024

  The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra received a security update that addressed 30 vulnerabilities in Android. 
• September 2024

  The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra switched from monthly to quarterly updates.

• January 2022: The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra received the Android 12 update with One UI 4.0. 
• December 2022: The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra received the Android 13 update with One UI 5.1. 
• October 2024: The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra received a security update.

To add you can tap on the locked note and choose use password instead which should then show a Reset Password option @OOM2
