I'm sorry to hear your experiencing these issues with your phone. 😔
I've never come across as to where a software update has deleted the imei number 🤔
Try removing the sim card and reinsert it.
Try a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.
And if necessary back up and factory reset.
If necessary a Samsung Service Centre can assess your phone.
