@ElaineT: Based on reports by other Community members, the February security update began rolling out at the end of Jan, but will reach some people sooner than others based on factors such as location and network provider. If you head to Settings > Biometrics and Security > Other Security Settings > Scroll to the bottom > Security Policy Updates, and make sure that this is toggled on, then navigate to Settings > Software Update > Auto Download Over Wi-Fi, then you should be good to go. You can also manually check for the update via Biometrics and Security > Security Update.

Such problems happen all the time and most often when you least expect them. The easiest and surest way to get rid of this notification is to reinstall the phone's firmware. Most likely, it will cost some money, but you will restore the phone without losing data. For example, this cannot be done with a computer since all data is formatted when reinstalling Windows. So I bought indian proxy servers to store all the data there and access a certain network from any device. I advise you also to duplicate all the data from your phone. So as not to lose them in a critical

I had this happen to me a long time ago but it has since created a new issue. I had this same "your phone has been updated" message get stuck on my phone and I'm pretty positive that restarting my phone got it to go away. Problem is that after I did this instead of the software complete message showing up permanently now my phone constantly tells me there's a new update to install. At least this notification you can keep snoozing later and later & it will go away every once in a while but always seems to come back. Ive been dealing with this for at least a year if not more. When the software update notification comes up I have installed it but after anywhere between 15 minutes to a few hours or a day the update software notification will come back again. Very annoying. Samsung has some issues to fix because I don't think I'm the only one. Hope your phone isn't doing what mine started to do!

Hey @cs114. Have you ensured that everything on your phone is completely up to date?
- Settings > Software Update > Update Now.
- Play Store > Initial top right > Manage apps and device > Update All.
- Galaxy Store > Menu (bottom right) > Updates > Update All.

yeah? well, my phone updates anytime it wants. then the notification stays up for days like it is soo proud of itself "update complete". and only option is to snooze max of 2 hours. can't get rid of the garbage. it's been a couple of years of this annoyance and today I am fed up with seeing a notification on my phone only to have it be the SOS from Samsung. FIX this please!
