Nothing works on lockscreen

I have a new Note 9+

I have set up password and facelock

Problem is hey google will not wake up the screen and if I do a timer or reminder when the screen is unlocked, I do not get any reminders or timers.

I have updated the notepad and also uninstalled google and re installed.

Ensure Google Assistant is your default Assistant.
Settings>apps >choose default apps>Digital Assistant app. Tap 'Digital Assistant app' Toggle on Google. Go back to previous screen, tap the cog wheel to right of Digital Assistant app, and configure settings for Google Assistant and also Voice

all the above is correct, If I wake up the screen it works but when asleep it does not work

Open the Assistant. Tap your profile picture. In that menu list, find and then tap Lock Screen. Toggle on Assistant responses on lock screen.

Go back to that menu list and have a scroll through as there are other settings related to your voice that you could check.
