My note 9 has recently been unable to access the server to update the firmware... this is both on data and wifi... I check under settings and it just times out saying cant access server unable to install update... any one able to let me know how to fix this..? Thanks

Hello
1. Please install Smart Switch on a computer (links below) and on your Note 9 (from Play Store)
2. Connect both via USB cable
3. Run the app on your computer and see if you can find "Update"

thanks for the info but although it connects to the laptop and tells me it's up to date I still can't access the server to check for updates using my phone... I'm currently backing up my note to possibly hard reset it to see if that fixes it... are there any settings I need to check to see if they have changed...?

Ok sorry for the delay but a bit of an update, I can now access the update server if using data but still not via my home wifi but can on my work wifi so I need to find out why not in the settings of the home one, thanks for all the help and suggestions... fingers crossed its an easy fix on the home one
