Issue with Clear View Cover not working

So I just decided to put my clear view cover on my phone and the phone is not recognizing the case and it shows no options for the case under advanced features.

Doesn't appear to be NFC. Fix worked without NFC activated.
Removed cover. Plugged in phone. Refitted cover. Normality resumed (for now)

Too weird, worked indeed for me as well!🤔 Massive thanks, otherwise i'd be f.... I have tinkered with my case to invisibly add car mount magnets, so gariantee would be a no go 😏

S21 Ultra clear view cover issues, does not work , stopped working after December android 12 software update.

Had this before after EACH software update on S21 (never had issue on s6, s8 or s10 w/clear view cover though). But up till now a removal/reattaching of the cover and sometimes a restart helped getting it to work again. 

Not this time though. Tried all else: wiping cache partition, turn off/on NFC and other suggestions i found to no avail.

Then after some deeper searching found this thread and whatdoyouknow:

Removing cover, connecting to USB (pc in my situation), putting cover back on, removing USB and it works again 😳

I found the reason why my s20fe stopped responding  to the clear view cover. I put on a little steel plate on the back of the phone as a part of the magnetic car mount. my phone stopped seeing the cover, the accesories option disapeard in settings. the steel plate coused this. the phone has 2 hall sensors, one responsible for noticing that the cover is on the phone and the other that recognizes the the cover is either closed or opened. the clear view cover has 2 magnets, one in front part of the cover and one in the back. If you cover the back magnet with something that lowers the power of the back magnet the phone will not see the cover.

in my case I just placed the steel plate of the car mount just 0,5cm below the magnet of the back of the cover.

my problem got solved.

if your phone does not see the cover maybe there is something wrong with the back magnet of the cover and the hall sensor does not see it.

You can alcatel the magnets with a coin.

2 years on and no proper resolution, the power cable trick does not work and I have tried all the tips, contacted samsung to be told "We have no knowledge of any such problem" proves they don't even look at these messages.

Does your case ever come into contact with a magnet? I have not confirmed, but I think my case would start and stop working because I have a magnetic money clip. I have concluded that putting my phone and money clip together when I went through TSA at the airport was the problem. For a while, I thought putting it in Airplane Mode was the issue. Recently, it was not working after a flight but when I put my phone and money clip on my desk next to one another (nearly touching) it magically started to work. Now I keep them separated and it is still working. Fingers crossed.

My handset is nowhere near any magnet, the screen will not sleep or wake when opening the case, there are no options for accessories in settings, clearing NFC cache or the power cable trick does not work, it's a genuine samsung accessory ad it did work at first for about a month then a UI update and it all stopped.
