But its Google that does the software and the longest they will create updates for is 5 years for now.
I agree that the Note 20 Ultra was a fantastic phone. I think it looked great as well
Trouble is technology moves on so fast and great devices like those will quickly become obsolete

But some pixels were getting longer support back then

But sadly the reality is that the tech inside it doesn't support many of the new functions we have in our devices today. That's why they didn't have more than 4 or 5 years of updates.

Same here. . I've note 20 ultra 5g and bought s24 ultra. I find the display is more vibrant on note 20 ultra compared to s2r ultra. So I might got back to my note ultra because of sd support. Since ui 7 update on s24 ultra the battery is draining fast.
