Hi, @elsiemsh96. Are you needing to double-tap every time, or does this just happen on some apps some of the time?
If so, then have you verified whether there's perhaps an issue with the app or apps you're clicking (e.g. slow loading times might occur on some third-party apps)?

Ah, OK. That's good to know it's not a persistent issue, but it's still not ideal that you're experiencing this intermittently.
The first step to try would be a soft reset on your phone. This doesn't erase any data but it generally solves a variety of potential issues by giving your software a fresh start. To do this, press your Power and Volume Down keys together until you see the Samsung logo.
I then recommend testing the function of your phone's display by performing a hardware test. To do this, please head to the Support section of the Members app > Select 'View tests' underneath the Diagnostics heading > Touch screen.
