why do i have to tap things twice SO often?

ive looked on google, haven't found anything about this. i have samsung galaxy a53. this feels like a bug, but i might just be fat fingering things. but it's annoying. please reply to this if you also have this issue, it seems like im the only one with the issue.

Do you have screen protector on? You could try to turn on touch sensitivity in settings >display scroll down you'll see touch sensitivity option

i dont have a screen protector on tho..

You could still try to turn on touch sensitivity option and see if that would help. If no you can check for more troubleshooting options in the link i attached

Well if that's the case you could pass your phone to family member, friend etc and see if they experience same thing or not.

Hello there, how about making sure your accidental touch protection is off?

also, It sounds like your accessibly settings for interaction and dexterity might have been messed up!

maybe but I don't think I've ever looked through them settings before so i don't think they can change on their own

and for some reason i have a habit of checking my phone settings over and over if i changed a setting then i will keep checking it to make sure its on/off...😕
