Samsung gallery says it is not compatible with this phone. Less than a year old.

Ah, I see. Have you consulted WhatsApp's instructions for ensuring the media files are synced to your phone?

As it's a third-party app, I definitely recommend having a look at WhatsApp's own guides for syncing these data to the Gallery.

It's always worked until last update. There appears some comments regarding Samsung gallery and WhatsApp an Onedrive. Just trying to get to the bottom of it.
