My galaxyA52 screen got damaged and touchscreen no longer works. I was happily using my phone with USB Mouse control (through USB-C connector,) UNTIL my phone did a firmware update. Now when phone boots I get "to use USB - unlock phone." Catch 22 .....In order to use USB, I need to unlock phone and in order to unlock phone I need USB!

Anyone any ideas? Many Thanks in advance.

(Also does anyone know if I do a factory reset... will USB be supported on reboot?)

I was afraid something like this was going to happen eventually. Since that feature is brand new, no one fully knows everything about it. Taking it at face value, I'm not aware of a way to get it working other than a screen replacement. You can't roll the update back, a reset probably won't sort it unless Samsung didn't do things correctly, safe mode also probably won't work

Yoy can buy replacement screens off AliExpress for about 30 pounds, maybe try that
