A55 and Andriod auto

Purchased an A55 2 weeks ago and andriod auto will not connect up...when phone plugged in the phone screen keeps flashing constantly ...even cleared cache and data....bought new cables but to no avail......but my old S10 works perfectly with my old cable...anyone else having the same problem

If you haven't tried it you can try few thing like go settings > apps search android auto 3 dots uninstall updates and install them again.

Also you can try cleaning data from usb settings in system apps.

I also have a new A55 with exactly this issue, but it randomly connect / disconnects Only with A55 + Sony Head unit.

My families other phone A25 & A51 both work fine with the Sony head unit and to make things worse the A55 works fine with the head unit in my wife's Yaris (2022).

So the failure is my phone & my car, all other combinations work fine.

I've tried all sorts of fixes, but nothing seems to work and I know it is not the cable or connectivity via USB.

Would love to hear of any fix.

I have the same issue. A55 with Audi A3 2019. My phone connects to other cars Android Auto but not my car. My partners phone (A54) connects to my cars android auto. Like you said its the specific Car and Phone combo.

I've gone through all the standard trouble shooting. Updates, resetting connections etc but to no avail. My phone recognised AA is available and when I plug it it says it is trying to connect but never does connect.

I have not found any resolution to this issue and had to revert to purchasing a new phone, A56, which works just fine.

An alternative solution was to buy (but have not tested) one of the many USB devices that enable wireless AA
