Andrew,
So a screenshot from my account showing a registered phone with Model and IMEI is sufficient to have the Samsung Repair Center factory reset my phone?
IMEI's are not included in any proof of purchase from Samsung. Samsung knows this. It is not in the email receipt or delivery confirmation. I have my phone at the Samsung repair center and they are rejecting all my documentation even though I purchased the phone from Samsung.com, I have the receipt and invoice directly from Samsung, the address, email and phone number all match Samsung purchase and account details.
I do not have carrier proof of activation as my carrier is a prepaid service and they do not record the IMEI data except for the current phone, no history.
Why won't Samsung Repair Service accept any of this? And where is the unicorn of proof they are asking for?
On Reddit it is full of similar issues with Samsung requiring something that does not exist. I have read that there is some thought that Samsung rejects phones, factory resets them and resells them after the phone owner gives up trying.
To be clear, my phone is currently at the Samsung Repair Center, I have paid for the repair, I was told the invoice document I provided would be sufficient to factory reset the phone and now that I mailed my phone and they have it they are rejecting the documentation.

They are not going to unlock it, I am in the same boat, I provided proof of purchase, IMEI numbers (I had saved them in the phone box and you can find them in your Samsung SmartThings Find account), warranty card, written letter of approval of the person who took the phone there to be responsible for it and so on and the engineer said they don't do such things?! Then my friend asked to speak to the manager and the manager told them the same thing. That they cannot unlock such devices and that it's impossible/out of the question because if they could someone who stole your phone could make them unlock it (even though I provided the proof of purchase, the IMEI, the warranty card and I know every account on that device).
