@danmason855: Do you have any voicemails archived on your account, or any messages you've listened to , but not cleared? If so, you may wish to try deleting them to see if this stops the unwanted notifications from coming through. In the meantime, head to Settings > Notifications > Do not disturb, and toggle this option on to avoid any disturbances while you're watching a video. Please note that you can use the 'Allowed during Do not disturb' options to set any exceptions.
