I am EU based, using an A53 purchased locally. I purchased an eSIM from a local provider. The QR code I was sent doesn't work - when ever I try to scan it, it can only be open up in the Wearable app (which I don't use to manage any devices). When I tried to Google a different method of adding the eSIM, I was told to use the Add Mobile Network in the SIM Manager. As you can see from the screenshot below, there is no such option. Any ideas on what the issue might be? My phone should be eSIM enabled.
