Hi everyone, I've got a Samsung A14 4G. I'm trying to find the text message trash bin with no luck. I know it's only a matter of clicking the three dots onscreen and that will reveal the bin, but my text screen isn't showing those dots, all I've got is a screen with my previous messages and the symbol for composing messages. It's all working, I can send texts, but can anyone tell me how to recover the dots and reveal the bin ?
Cheers All

Hi, if you use Google One, and its properly set up for sync, then that automatically backs up your Google SMS and MMS messages.

To get into its settings, go to Settings>Apps. Scroll the list to find the app (Messages). Tap on it and tap 'Messages settings'
If the 3 dots are still missing, then clear the app cache and data
Settings>apps. Tap on 'Messages' from the list again. Tap Storage and tap on 'clear data' and 'clear cache'.

Thank you Sayf. That clears it up I'm using Google Messages not Samsung. I'm wondering where the deleted messages on Google go?
