My phone was failing a few months ago so I used SmartSwitch to copy everything across to a replacement, identical phone. However not everything copied properly, including the data for some very important apps, so I had to continue using the falling phone for a couple of months until one day it failed.
Since the failed phone failed, I've been using the backup phone. Obviously there's a gap in the backup from the original phone that was used for a further couple of months after Switching.
Having now revived the failed phone, my question is, can I use SmartSwitch again to update only the files on the backup phone rather than reinstall everything again? I know this is not how SS is meant to be used.

Sadly, a smart switch, unlike the Apple process, doesn't copy and app login information only the app, unless its a Samsung app.

In this case, it was an app with no login so no way to move data. I was hoping SmartSwitch would do it but it failed on this one.app.

Smartswitch is ***** and Samsung is unreliable. Constant issues with everything, apps, updates... Been a Samsung user for over a decade. Switching to the iPhone, solely for Samsung making my life hard for no reason. Dude, just let me transfer my files and F off.
