Slow camera

Why does it take super long to take a picture whn i click the button. It takes about 3 seconds

Are you using it in a night mode. This has a variable delay.

@a05sUser: If you have Photo mode selected, then the Camera app should capture photos instantly. With this in mind, you may wish to check if you have a timer enabled by tapping the clock symbol above the viewfinder and ensuring that you have selected the clock without a number inset.

Some camera modes do take longer to take photos e.g. Night mode, as you are required to hold the camera steady for a few seconds to allow time for light to enter then lens.

Try turning down or off the intelligent optimisation

If your phone has that setting, then it will be listed in the camera settings (cog wheel). Just noticed Andrews post referring to the timer option too.

You can change the shutter time in the settings.

And A14 take 4sec to 5sec
