Not able to clear Notifications on my Lockscreen

It shows the clear button on the lockscreen Notification panel but it is not allowing to click. I tried searching in the settings but couldn't find anything. Can anyone help me with this issue.

I notice that your fingerprint doesn't match seeing what s showing in the screen shot that might be why as it probably needs you to unlock it before you can make any changes to it.

Hi Keith,

The fingerprint mismatch That is not the reason. I should be able to clear my notification even on my Lockscreen. As you can see the clear button is visible but it not clickable. I need to know how I can enable it.

Hi Affan1,
Can you swipe away the notifications instead? Try swiping with your finger. Does this occur with all notifications or just notifications from certain apps? Please note that some notifications behave like this normally and can only be swiped away (the 'clear' option is greyed out). If this is happening with all notifications, then has it always been this way, or was it something that has just recently happened. Are you using any 3rd party customisations

Hi Robin,

I tried swiping also but it doesn't clear, I was able to clear the notification on my A71 on the lockscreen by swiping as well as by the clear option.  On this new device I am not able to do both to clear the notification on lockscreen as you can see in the screenshot.

How can I get it to Work? Because on my other samsung devices it is working and proper on this I am having issues.

Thanks, Affan1. Which new model phone do you have, btw? Although you should be able to dismiss notifications from your lockscreen without having to physically unlock the phone, I'd be interested to know if the 'clear' option becomes accessible when the phone is unlocked. Can you please unlock the device and then post the exact same screenshot again, which clearly shows the status of the 'clear' option.

I  am currently using Galaxy A15. And after unlocking the Clear option is accessible like it should be. On lockscreen screen it should be accessible like my other phones but on this device it only shows the Clear option but us not accessible on Lockscreen.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't own the A15 handset. It's working on my S23U. I can dismiss notifications by pressing the clear option and swiping away, all without unlocking my phone. Unsure why it's not working on yours sorry. Anyone else around you with the same model who you can compare with? Where was the phone purchased btw, just thinking if not a UK model if your firmware has different settings 🤔
