Samsung Galaxy A23 crashing after latest update.

I restarted my Galaxy A23 and it did not reboot. Did all the usual DIY tests and nothing happened. Took it in to repair shop and the technician said I was the 10th person for the week. Apparently the latest update is causing Samsung Galaxy A23s all over Trinidad and Tobago to crash.

How much did the repair cost? And was your data backed up beforehand?? I'd like to know because I want to get mine fixed, thanks.

The repair was free. However I did pay $150TT to speed up my repair. You shouldn't have to do that now as there is no rush.

Thanks for telling me the price I appreciate it, do you also know if they can also fix it without losing the data?

Same thing started happening to my A23 5g UW earlier this year after update. At first it got stuck on One UI update for 2 days. Now I  get frozen on a white screen and have to manually hard reset multiple times.  Is iPhone better than Samsung in regards to software glitches? More expensive,  but might be worth it. I'm in the United States
