When I purchased the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, a promise from Samsung was that it would be guaranteed 6 X Major OS upgrades to 2030. I have recently found out that the updates and upgrades will be rolled out so slowly, that by the time they are implemented on the A16 5G, the Android OS system will have already moved on. Therefore it will always be out of date. The OS upgrades claim by Samsung is defunct.
I'd love to hear some thoughts and replies on this matter.

@deve52: While you won't receive OS updates at the same time as our flagship S Series and Z Series devices, your device will still receive them well before the next update is set to be released (which is typically on an annual basis). Add to this the 6 years of security updates (up to 31st October 2030) which are released every 3 months, and your device will be kept up to date long after many other rival brands/devices have become obsolete. For the price point, I personally think that this policy offers excellent value for money.

A series phones get security updates more often than every 3 months. I have the A25 5G and the longest time between updates has been 2 months.
