Do you have a screen protector on at all ?
If so this could be causing the issue.
Sometimes just plugging it in to recharge can help.
You could try a soft reboot by trying something like "If your device is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the Power button and the Volume button down simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it."
If that does not work your phone will auto shut down when the battery level drops.
Or pop into a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre @Bethtwizzle
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hi @Bethtwizzle , you can check on this webpage for your problem

Answer FROM @BandOfBrothers seem to be the best one :
"If your device is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the Power button and the Volume button down simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it."

Have you tried to take the phone to one of our Support Centres to be assessed? You can find your nearest one here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/service-centre/

I have the same issue - but it only started 4/5 days ago (April 2021). The solution is to reboot the phone, which is ridiculous, as it just happens again a day later. To reboot... Hold down the volume down and power keys together for 7 seconds, it will restart and should work again.
Until 4/5 days ago the phone kept shutting down and rebooting once a day for no reason, but when it rebooted it did not recognise the SIM card. This issue seems to have stopped and been replaced by the non-responsive touchscreen issue.
I am thinking of upgrading to an iPhone, as this is getting ridiculous. Samsung haven't even acknowledged a problem exists.
