Hi Community,

On november 1st i've updated my A52 with normal SW update as proposed by Samsung. I did it regularly as usual (when notified) .

After the update OneUI 6.1/ Android 14, Security update Oct 1st/ Kernel Linux 4.1.190-perf.... ) , impossible to connect anymore on Cellular Network, only Wifi/Bluetooth

I've wiped cache partition, reset network settings and even do factory reset but issue is still there

Please help ?

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

1. Restart Your Phone: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix connectivity issues. Turn off your phone, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.

2. Check Airplane Mode: Make sure Airplane Mode is turned off. You can check this in the quick settings menu or in the settings under "Connections."

3. Reinsert SIM Card: Power off your phone, remove the SIM card, wait a few seconds, and then reinsert it. This can help your phone recognize the SIM again.

4. Network Settings Reset: Go to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings. This will reset Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth settings.

5. Check for Additional Updates: Sometimes, subsequent updates are released to fix issues. Go to Settings > Software update and check for any new updates.

6. Contact Your Carrier: If none of the above steps work, it might be worth contacting your mobile carrier to see if there are any network issues or if your account needs to be checked.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, you may want to consider reaching out to Samsung support for further assistance. 😊

Hi @Fildefer72 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋

May I assume your sim card works fine in another phone i.e so there is no sim card issues ?

If so and if the diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App does highlight anything then let a Samsung Service Centre  / Samsung Experience Store have hands on.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Hi K000,

I did all the steps you've proposed and unfortunately none gives a positive  output

I put my SIM card in another phone and it works fine as well

Hi there, I'm experiencing a similar issue on my A52s after an official update and the suggested steps weren't able to solve this. My SIM is functional but there's no service even after a factory reset. Are thre any news regarding this issue?

I'm also having the same issue on my S22 Ultra following this update - it feels as though it is a software issue, there is no issue with my mobile network and my SIM works fine on other devices. I have tried all the steps above, have also replaced the SIM and done a full factory reset. Another issue which has only arisen after the update is losing the app notification and vibration functions which were all working fine before the update. Is there a fix, this is a real problem?

I have same problem with my galaxy note 20 ultra. Felt like this is a samsung issue, if they don't fix it, have to switch to IPhone

This issue is being looked at by samsung experts so hopefully a fix will be deployed relatively soon

Is this some official info? Do you have any more details about it? My phone is completely useless after this update
