Samsung A22 and A12 security updates

Hi,

We have a number of Samsung A22 and A12 devices running Android 13 and are wondering how longer these devices will receive security updates for?

Hello 👋 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum. 

Qe are customers here like you so have no actual access to the scheduling. 

Updates are sent out in waves dependant on region, phone model eligibility and serial and build number. 

Sometimes siyes such as sammobile.com gives some indication. 

A person can also try Samsung SmartSwitch via a Computer.

Hi @Stuart Field  The A22 receives security updates on a  biannual basis and will also receive two in 2025 (scheduled to be the last ones) https://www.sammobile.com/news/galaxy-a22-may-2024-security-update/

The A12  received its last security update in January https://www.sammyfans.com/2025/01/07/these-3-samsung-phones-are-no-longer-eligible-for-software-upda...
