after updating my A14 5G to One UI 7.0, my touchcreen doesn't work at all anymore.
How to fix this?

I have the same issue after the update with the A14, tried factory reset but it doesn't do anything. It's Samsung's responsibility to fix this. Luckily my phone is still in the EU 2 year warranty period which I am calling in for or threatening with legal repercussions. They definitely let a vibe coder do this software update - it's ridiculous that they allow pushing of such buggy *****. Their customer service is horrible too. Welcome to 2025 guys, where big tech takes all your money and you get nothing in return!

Yeah, getting into their BIOS is really finnicky too. Took me a solid 2 days of finally hitting the right sweet spot of releasing those two buttons at the right time - but you should be able to get there and then clear the cache.
For me doing factory reset didn't change anything though, so I'm not sure if it's worth trying. The tech solution mentioned below is way out of my tech skills and should be Samsung's responsibility for breaking a fundamental part of their phone.

Something to think about, definitely recommend smart switch software to back up the phone before updating samsung phone.
As for which firmware, that depends on what type your A14 5G originated as. You can figure this out using the IMEI lookup. That's how I figured mine was an XAA type. Then go to the sammobile site to choose the firmware. The other firmware sites are too new so their firmware is UI 7 android 15 and you will end up with the same problem again. I downloaded odin firmware installer and was able to go back to UI 6.1 android 14. Make sure to use the latest one since earlier XAA wouldn't allow me to downgrade. Hopefully they haven't published the UI 7 android 15 yet. Once you have downgraded. There are about 3 settings to fiddle around with to shut off auto upgrade to UI 7. I get the notification to upgrade but it does not force me to. Google how not to update and the AI gives the exact steps. That's about it unless Samsung actually fixes this issue. Wish they would release the firmware themselves. This is the most messed up thing to happen to any phone of mine.
