after updating my A14 5G to One UI 7.0, my touchcreen doesn't work at all anymore.
How to fix this?

Once you get the phone unlocked, go to settings, then Software update.
Download & install Aug security patch

Do you think it may be sensible to 'pin' a solution page for this subject and tell people how they're supposed to unlock their phones to install the patch?

I'm desperate. I've been resetting my A145G for over two hours to see if the screen issue is resolved, but to no avail. My touchscreen is unresponsive, so I can't install the patch. Can anyone help me?

@Galar I don't know if you've tried this, but I found that having my phone plugged into a charger lessened the freezing problem. That allowed me to do 'stuff' on the phone without it locking up all the time.

Dear all, the phone of my wife is still responsive after 48hrs.
This is what I did:
1) I installed as all of you the one ui 7.0 with all the update nearly 3 weeks ago. Than the touchscreen become unresponsive. I noticed that using the wifi and removing the SIM from the phone, the phone became usable to finish and check for the updates (all the apps and the all the system apps and softwares were up to date). Putting inside the SIM again, after all reboot and update one week ago, the phone was not working again.
2) 3 days ago, without the SIM and using the WIFI, I've checked again for updates and I found a security patch update and Installed it. This seems to have solved the issue, because now, with the SIM inside, the phone is working again. Probably, in my case, this last security patch (I think it was called August security patch or something), solved the issue.
Hope this will help you guys. Good luck
