Samsung A14 5G touchscreen doesn't work anymore after update to One UI 7.0

after updating my A14 5G to One UI 7.0, my touchcreen doesn't work at all anymore. 

How to fix this?

How to schedule anything when you can't use any touch screen functionality?

I rang customer service, the couldn't understand me, I couldn't understand her and then she couldn't understand the problem...no help there. I thenn asted 40 mins on text support typing in the same problem 3 times! Being asked 'how was my day going' ...I gave up after that! Just gone back and complained on Samsung twitter.....

Battery and device care
Auto optimization
Auto restart. At this point you can select schedule time, ideally during the night when phone not in use and battery above 30%.
I also deleted some old apps. It's definitely working better today and haven't had to force shutdown at all so it's done something right!
I don't know how you'd do that though if you can't use touchscreen at all.

I had the same problem, with the moments of not being able to use the touchscreen getting larger and larger, with a freeze of a few hours today. When I was about to buy a new phone in a shop, it suddenly all worked perfectly again and now already for over an hour. I returned and I hope it will now miraculously be fixed...
