Ok so I'm on the samsung galaxy A14 4G and I just got one ui 7 but the seccond i did i noticed a bug on lockscreen sometimes if u idle while ur phone is locked or even sometimes as long as ur on ur lockscreen it just suddenly turns unresponsive and only thr power and volume buttons work everytime this happens I either have to wait for the touch to randomly come back or I have to restart my phone. I've already tried wiping cache partition, uninstalling APK files, going on safe mode and removing the now bar please I need tips on what to do and I need to know if an update will come to fix it.

If you feel you have done necessary basic checks perhaps Check for further Software Updates: Samsung acknowledged the lock screen bug and other issues with One UI 7 and has been rolling out hotfix patches to resolve major problems, including a recovery patch for the lock screen delivered via the Galaxy Store. Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to check if a new update is available that addresses this specific bug.
Optimize Device Care: Ensure your device performance is optimized by closing background apps, managing battery usage, and scanning for issues. Navigate to Settings > Battery and device care > Optimize now.
Factory Data Reset (Last Resort): If all else fails and your phone remains consistently unusable, a factory data reset might be necessary. Crucially, back up all your data beforehand, as this will erase all personal information and restore the device to its factory settings. You can do this by going to Settings > General management > Reset > Factory data reset.
Samsung Support & Service: If the issue persists even after a factory reset, or if you prefer professional assistance, consider contacting Samsung Support or visiting an authorized service center for inspection and repair, as the issue might be hardware-related in some cases.

I too have this problem! Guess no one has a timeline for a solution?

Mine is a bit more intermittant, it seems to be (but not always) if I unlock it using the fingerprint. If I swipe up and get the pattern and unlock it using pattern or fingerprint it seems to work - but not always

Are you having issues whilst charger cable plugged in?

I have experienced this sort of problem on some phones. Don't know  why. Could be the way the circuit board is built.

No issues with the cable, since the phone updated from android 14 to 15 it's been having issues with lag and touchscreen not working the new os 7 seems to be the culprit I've cleared the cache partition and factory reset but no joy

Same in my A14 5G device. in order to get the touch screen to work need to plug the charger and unplug to get the screen on again in order to swipe for unlock.
