after updating my A14 5G to One UI 7.0, my touchcreen doesn't work at all anymore.
How to fix this?

Thank you. I tried it but I can't get to the cache partition option. When I managed to turn my phone off (which is hard without touch screen), I tried what you suggested but I see the welcome screen of UI 7

Hello,
Same problem here : after update to One UI 7.0 on my Samsung A14 device (SMA146U1), the touchscreen does not work anymore.
I rebooted couple of times.
I wiped the cache and rebooted, touchscreen still unresponsive.
I wiped (data) and rebooted, touchscreen still unresponsive : I can't change the language on the first screen.
For information this is an original samsung screen (no replacement).
Anyone having this issue ?

Yes, That just happened to mine. It makes it hard to do 2 factor authentication here when the phone is whacked. Good thing I still have my old phone.

For information, I had to flash latest official samsung android14 ROM to have my phone working again...
Guys at samsung... I dont even understand how a touchscreen bug can happen in 2025..
For anyone having the same problem, chatgpt is your friend for helping with all the proper tools and selecting the proper ROM to repare your phone.
Good luck !

Hello,
Can you please give me a better hint to which kernel since I think I spent a really long time downloading the wrong one.

The firmware I downloaded was in spanish and also UI 7.0. I used Odin and I'm still having the problem. Was this correct or did you download an earlier one?

So after multiple downloads and attempts, I was finally able to download the proper firmware which for my unlocked sm-a146u1 is the latest I could find xaa firmware file. I was easily able to install this and my touchscreen was fully functional again. This firmware somehow downgraded me to UI 6.1 android 14. After a while it upgraded again to UI 7 android 15 and again my touchscreen stopped allowing input. Luckily, I was able to downgrade again and I did some google fu and found out what I needed to keep my phone from updating again. So that is the situation with my phone and I don't know why updating to UI7 android 15 keeps killing my touchscreen. I guess there is something funky going on with the UI 7/android 15 drivers for the touch portion of my screen. Wish this could be resolved.
