Hi @atriv8
First try a soft reboot by turning the phone Off and On.
You could also look in > Settings > Home Screen > Hide Apps on Home and Apps Screen.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care. 😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I also have an A54 and I have the exact same issue. Last week, two apps I was using nearly everyday disappeared. When I search for them they're still installed and I can access them, but the icons are missing. Today I noticed that all my custom icons like Whatsapp, Mimecast etc have disappeared from my home screen.
The fact it's happening with numerous apps tell me it's not a problem with the apps, but the device or OS.
What's even more irritating is I'm finding that my sessions are not persisting in some apps as they previously did. In my Outlook for example. Previously, I would only be prompted to re login if I have changed my password, but this morning for some arbitrary reason, I was logged out. Another app had also lost my saved credentials.

I have experienced same. In my case I found the icons in some "collector" app like GamingHub and AR-Zone. The gaming hub removes all game icons from the home screen and app screen which will only available from game hub. After I change this settings (in GamingHub) the got back app icons. And similar to AR-emoji and other AR apps with AR-Zone.

Thank you! Thought I was going mad, yes this worked, all icons back, it had also removed none game apps?? and remove custom home screen folders??, it hasn't put these folders back as least I can recreate.

That's exactly what happened to me. I never downloaded GamingHub but it was hiding all game apps. Thanks for the suggestion. After adjusting the GamingHub settings, I can see now my game apps on my Home Screen.

I have the same problem. I transferred from A32 to S21 and about 12 icons have disappeared though the apps exist.I've tried everything so it looks like i'll have to uninstall and reinstall. Really annoying
