The soft swipe gestures in the navigation bar are not functioning properly. The functions are randomly assigned to different gestures. The back button closes the app instead of going to the previous page. Specially the 'recent apps' swipe doesn't function at all and interferes with the bottom icons and the media page on the left. Imo it's a software glitch.

To help troubleshoot, let's try the following steps:

  1. Switch off your phone for 20 seconds to give it a fresh start.

  2. Check for system updates – Go to Settings > Software update and make sure your device is up to date.

  3. Reset gesture settings – Navigate to Settings > Display > Navigation bar and try switching between gesture modes or resetting them to default.

  4. Clear cache partition – Boot your device into recovery mode and clear the cache partition. 

  5. Safe Mode test – Try booting into Safe Mode to see if the problem persists. This can help determine if a third-party app is interfering.
