Repair IMEI

I have Samsung A32 smartphone but the phone has stolen from me month ago 

Now the police catched the thief and returned my smart phone but the phone imei numbers are changed

How could I returned the IMEI number ??

Are you sure they gave you the correct phone as I'm fairly sure the IMEI numbers are specific to the phone and can't be changed.
Someone may know otherwise but I've not come across anyone that can

IMEI can be changed but this is illegal in most countries. The chimera tool can do this but the best action would be to discuss with Samsung customer services.
