Region Lock again

Hello,

I got a samqung a54 for 7months,bought in Asia and was region locked,so after the 5 min initial call everything was working properly,then Moved to Africa with an another non asian sim,was working properly since last 7months.But since around 1 week,was suprised to get it region locked again after a Samsung officla automatic update,so now i cannot use my sims and its again region locked.

Cannot go back to Asia to make this call again,any support please?

You may need to contact Samsung directly to see if they can remotely remove the lock if indeed that is the issue. 

What's happening with the phone that leads you to think this is a Region Lock again 🤔 

See if the new sim works in another phone is a good troubleshooting step @Nassoft

Many Thanks for your replie,actually new sims are working,im using again my old S9+ with 2 sims

Trying to getcin touch with samsung support but so far didnt get any update from them (Online)

Speculative comment here but are you sure it is Region Lock that's the issue and not that the device has been locked?

Did you buy the device from a recognised retailer?

• I bought Samsung A54 5G from Malaysia, used there a while and then return to Bangladesh. After using this phone for 6 months, suddenly got region locked. I contacted with Samsung whatsapp chat, they recommended to contact Samsung local service center. Samsung local service center wanted to charge 55 USD to flash motherboard and may try to solve it but no confirmation to solve. 
• Just be careful and think few times before purchase Samsung devices
