So I had an issue with my A13 5G not showing or sounding app notifications if the screen was off, most importantly X, Facebook and Amazon. I tried numerous times to fix it and it just couldn't be done. I was tired of missing notifications so I upgraded to a Samsung A26 5G. However the same issue is happening. When the screen times out the app notifications do not come across. In my travels even though I don't have sleeping, battery saver, etc. on Doze Stopper was recommended just to try. I did install and no difference. I didn't think my phone DID doze but I am including a picture of the doze stopper log.
Then I heard about Always on Display and that it could help. My phone does not have a native version but I downloaded AOA from the Google Store. But I shut the screen off and it goes black with the power button and after about a minute the AOA starts up. I have it set up to show ALL app notifications on the screen. It did show Samsung Members with Icon and Sound but once I double tapped the screen to turn on did a bunch of X messages come through. Everything is showing on the lock screen and all settings I believe are as they should be. The one thing missing is under App Notifications in Settings it used to have to configure in the app itself or adjust settings on the phone, like with android posts from people I follow had been silent on the A13. The only thing to configure is through X itself. I am at a loss as I figured going with a more expensive, newer, better phone would correct the issues. Any help would be appreciated.

Your device is now far more customisable than ever before.
I note you have notifications turned on (presumably at system level) but do you have notifications turned on for each app? (open each app, go to settings, notifications and toggle on)?

Thanks for responding. Yes I have individual app notifications turned on. Allow notifications, sound and vibration on, show lock screen, app icon badge and notification pop up all turned on. Also show content on Lock Screen is enabled.
