QR scans not working after update

I installed an update last week now I can't scan any QR codes in apps. All permissions seem OK and its not the codes as I have seen others doing it ok. It was fine until the update.  So frustrating,  anyone any ideas? I am losing points not scanning codes when I buy stuff!!! I have a Galaxy A21s

I have Samsung Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G on UI-Version 4.1, Android 12 latest updates.

For clarity, I am able to open the QR Code Scanner by swiping from the top of the screen to the bottom using 2 fingers. This QR Code scanner works fine.

In other apps, which have a QR Code Scanner integrated, the QR Code Scanner shows the camera and I can focus the QR Code, but nothing happens. The app does not recognize the QR Code. The app has all necessary rights to use the Camera.

I think it is similar issue with was fixed on other Samsung phones with an update.

Hope Samsung can have a look.

I have the same problem as Economy above. The scan code in the camera worked before, but now it does not. Checked all basic general settings.  Update: It's fixed now. Don't know why, but started working again after I tried the scanner from lock-screen two-fingers drag down (quick menu icons).
