I have a brand new Galaxy A70 for less than a week, and today it suddenly decided to no longer unlock with the fingerprint scanner as normal. Instead it is asking to, "Enter your PIN, as required by the security policy, instead of using your fingerprints" after using the power button to activate the screen and swiping up to unlock.
However, putting in the 4-digit PIN and selecting OK does nothing except freeze the number pad on display, and the only options are either to use the back key to the lock screen, the Emergency call button, or let the screen time-out and go back to black.
Please help?

That's a known error. You'll have to force a restart : simultaneously long press the Power and Volume Down Buttons, the device schould restart, and you should be able to login with your usual credentials.

What if the power button and volume button for 10 seconds does not work to clear the phone and allow the correct pin?
