Phone to TV connection

Trying to connect Samsung A71 to Samsung smart TV using USB-C / HDMI cable.  TV States 'no signal', however, works OK when connecting laptop to TV using same cable.  Wondering if there is a setting that needs changed on the phone to make this work?

@Stevebfast: The Galaxy A71 doesn't support screen mirroring via HDMI, however you can mirror your phone to a Smart TV using Smart View, provided that both the phone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi router. To do this, swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom, then again to enlarge the Quick Panel, select Smart View from the Quick Panel and follow the on screen instructions.

Nothing beats a Chromecast for bouncing your screen up to the TV.
