My phone is not waking up from sleep. it is recognized by linux. dmesg:
[ 3144.979097] usb 2-2: new high-speed USB device number 11 using xhci_hcd
[ 3145.128382] usb 2-2: New USB device found, idVendor=04e8, idProduct=6860, bcdDevice= 2.23
[ 3145.128399] usb 2-2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3
[ 3145.128406] usb 2-2: Product: SAMSUNG_Android
[ 3145.128410] usb 2-2: Manufacturer: SAMSUNG
[ 3145.128415] usb 2-2: SerialNumber: R9PW20M5V0J
[ 3145.132649] usb 2-2: can't set config #1, error -32
it is not recognized as a adb device, despite usb debugging being turned on
pressing the power button does nothing, holding the power button does nothing, holding all buttons does nothing, and scanning my fingerprint does nothing. i can not access the phone, so cant access settings. also no noises or anything. it worked fine an hour ago, and to my knowlage nothing happend in between.

Please use Google search to find some information about a hard reset.
Or use the link below.
Be aware however a hard reset will delete your saved information.
If this fails to help then I'd suggest to let a Samsung Service Centre have hands on with your phone.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care. 😎
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Yes, but, as i already tried, doing a hard reset for my phone involves just holding all the buttons. i could try and get the battery to drain, but i am scared to do that.
