Phone asking for pin despite only ever using pattern and fingerprint

I got a Galaxy A54. I always used patterns or fingerprints. Yet today in the afternoon, it started asking me to input a pin and now I'm locked out for 2 hours after too many tries. Funnily enough, I was using fingerprint earlier in the morning and it was fine.

Is there a way I can fix this so I'm back using pattern and fingerprint?

I'd suggest to perform a forum search @Izaaz as there are a few existing threads that hold tips and advice in regards to this.

I had a look, couldn't find any threads that gave me a solution as I only recently just created a Samsung account and it isn't registered with my phone.
