One UI 7 update is terrible

Hard to know where to begin. The visual changes are terrible and it's difficult or impossible to change the display settings. I've not been able to revert or undo many of the changes. My biggest issue is I like using dark mode, but my swipe to unlock or pin screen now default to bright/white. Well done on a terrible update.

For me, none of these issues bar the battery icon cosmetic (which they updated and enlarged to an acceptable size IMO) have been an issue. No camera blurriness experienced, no battery drain (outside of typical drain) either. No "white mode" when swiping in dark mode etc. So it's hard to say if they "fixed" any of these issues if someone never experienced them in the first place. It's best to give some practical problems you may be experiencing with relevant context and data, such as screen shots of battery usage stats and other screens, captured photos with reference to prior photo's pre update. Usually anecdotal complaints with nothing to reference them to are much harder to diagnose or verify their authenticity.

They are not helpful. Yhey reaffirm my feeling and issues. The changes I do not like following the update are not adjustable.

Maybe we only post when there's something that bothers us enough. In fact, that's exactly what Samsung support advised me to do 😂

The summary of my issues with the update is purely cosmetic with the display, appearance, and customisation worse and inferior to what existed before (opinion). Is it the end of the world? No. Is it annoying? Yes.

I've not noticed battery performance reported by other users so far.

Where are they finding these barrels to scrape? I had another downgrade foisted on me overnight in the guise of 'bug fixes' to the last botched attempt to spabilise UI7.  That's slowed the phone down even more, I can send morse code or semaphore faster than it now allows me to type.

With the experience of over a week my battery life has definitely decreased since the update. What an awful "improvement"
