One UI 7 update is terrible

Hard to know where to begin. The visual changes are terrible and it's difficult or impossible to change the display settings. I've not been able to revert or undo many of the changes. My biggest issue is I like using dark mode, but my swipe to unlock or pin screen now default to bright/white. Well done on a terrible update.

No such problems on my S24 Ultra.. My settings remained after the update. I just had to tweak here and there..
One UI8 will be out soon too..

One UI8 (beta) changes very little in terms of visuals. It is more a back office type of update.

Please search, there are lots of threads on One UI7 which discuss settings.

Much of what people complain about can be adjusted in settings to suit individual users.

Thank you for a very insightful view on the latest update. For me, and I assume many more, most changes are minor at best and other than some obvious icon changes, the difference is barely noticeable. I haven't had any issues with Dark Mode as it feels identical to how I've been used to it. I honestly can't wrap my head around how people feel any drastic changes, but perhaps I'm just less sensitive to minor UI cosmetic adjustments.

After theone UI 7 update my phone has been a nightmare.I managed to adjust somethings but some I can't like the battery draining so bad I wake up in morning and my phone off cus it completely drained. Also putting the amount left on battery in a tablet icon I now can't see it as its too small.The camera is now blurred hard to focus to take a shot..I stopped updates coming onto my phone now untill I check first what the recent UI 7 update is that's come after the big one that altered so much? Does this new update fix the problems above?
