One UI 2 Gestures: Double swipe to go back

Every time I'm on a game and I want to go home or press back I have to double swipe. The first swipe brings up the notification bar (I assume it's for accidental touches so you don't leave the game). This is really annoying because if I wanted to double swipe, I would just use the buttons instead of gestures. Is there a way to turn this off? If there isn't then I would like it to be added in and update if possible otherwise I may have to downgrade
