My advice to everyone that's just had the update check your phone numbers because all the names disappeared to the numbers so you Ve got all the phone numbers but you don't know what numbers are you don't know who to ring now I don't know know the works number and I can't phone work What f****** ***** wrote this programme if he was here now I'd punch him in the face

I had this only happen to WhatsApp before after an update, but was fixed by allowing contact permissions.
Got the One UI5.1 update on Tuesday and no issues at all.
Try restarting your phone, make sure all apps are updated and that all permissions are allowed where necessary.
