old original 25w charger only shows fast charge please help

hello. my old original 25w charger that came with note 20 doesn't show superfast on my a34 and a54.

they both only show fast charge.

my friends phone charger is a copy but it shows super fast on my phones.

what is going on here?

what has Samsung done to the new phones please help.

i have hard resetted both of the phones but it didn't help.

Yes we can delete our own posts and yes he was right. Ifs changed a bit with samung now. Fast charge in the settings is super fast. When you plug the phone in it should say fast charging for a few second and then disappear. For ne my ultra has 45w. When I plug in it will say super fast charging 2.0 for a few seconds then disappear so I think your charger is fine.

thank a lot man. i was confused because my friend's copy charger shows superfast!

so I thought ask for help. to be honest, i don't understand why a copy shows super while an original show fast.

i think samsung is deliberately eliminating some chargers . oneof my friends have the same problem .guess what, he has an original 25w charger that came with note 10 and another Anker PPS capable charger that easily superfast note 10 and s21.yet on his a 54 he has the same exact problem.a54 shows fastcharge. it seems it's some kind of PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE.

i can't find another realistic explantion.

just think about it, new chargers even fake ones can show superfast but the old original ones just show fast charge. even here some people have reported something similar.

Samsung needs to correct this.

On mine if I plug in an 45w it will say superfast 2.0, if I plug in 25w it will just say superfast, if I plug in a 15 w it will say fast and anything lower it will just be charging. Mine are all samsung ones apart from the 5w iphone charger. Really not sure what's happening in yours & your friends case.

yours is right. ours not. it seems some chargers have been eliminated but not all of them.

It's no planned obsolescence. It's really a case of voltages and amps and what each supply is capable of reaching. On your A54, use an app like Accubattery to see how fast your device is really charging. Compare both chargers, one which says fast charging snd another that shows Superfast Charging.

For me I have 2 45W chargers, one Samsung and a 3rd party one. My Samsung one always shows Superfast Charging 2.0 for all my devices (Note 10+ 5G, S23 Ultra, Tab S7+, Tab S8 Ultra). The 3rd party charger only shows Superfast Charging 2.0 on my Note 10+ 5G and Tab S7+, the others only appear as Superfast Charging 1.0. However, if I check the charging speed on my S23 Ultra, it clearly shows it's reaching approximately the same power and charging speed as the Samsung Charger (around 31W dropping to 25W when hot).

in my case the original show just fast charge!

acoumeter  is not accurate. i use a usb wattmeter my friend. both charger are around 22 watts to 23.
